FACTS
Garfield, weighing 19 pounds, really enjoys scratching on the heavy-solid Fancy Paw Post as it does not move.
Each scratcher is handcrafted in the US with all natural materials, is made of walnut finished wood, natural sisal and a variety of granite on wood. Weight is 30 pounds, 29 inches high with a post diameter of 6.5 inches and the base diameter at 15.5 inches.
When a scratcher is light-weight, it will move, or fall over, cats will be startled and prefer the solid furniture to remove the husk from their nails. Also, the round base prevents stubbing toes on corners.
